Klingon Bastards No More
Adam Cristin Eberle ("Ace" to his friends) has been a fan of both Star Trek TV series for many years, and especially of the "Klingon bastards."  Well known for his outlandish costumes and Klingon propaganda, "Ace" is presently a Commanding Officer of the Klingon Assault Group, running the Lawrenceville region.

Caution: Speed Bumps A Head!
Maker of Klingon headpieces and hardware, Eaton was invited to the Hawaiian Tropic swimwear contest in Florida due to the authenticity of his Klingon costume.  A member of the Klingon Assault Group (KAG), he was also an extra, in Klingon costume, for the movie The Real McCoys, starring Kim Basinger and Val Kilmer.  Eaton has done makeup work for haunted houses as well as local theatre productions.

Joel P. Bagby, Ed.S., LPC

Joel Bagby is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in private practice in the Atlanta area since 1985.  He holds a Masters degree and also a Specialists degree in counseling psychology from West Georgia College.  Joel provides individual, group, marital and family psychotherapy services for adults and adolescents, and has experience in outpatient, inpatient and community settings.  Joel has led numerous seminars and workshops covering themes such as anxiety-related concerns, interpersonal communication, identity confusion and emerging identity concerns, and memory distortion and disturbance.  He has acquired extensive experience in identifying and providing counseling services for survivors of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, and also has expertise in treating multiple personality disorders and related dissociative disorders, as well as post-traumatic stress disorders.  Joel is a member of the American Counseling Association, Association for Specialists in Group Work, the International Society for the Study of Multiple Personality and Dissociation, and a Clinical Member of the Georgia Mental Health Counselors Association.

Robert Bloch
An Hour with Robert Bloch
The author of Psycho and many other novels of suspense and terror, Robert Bloch has also written hundreds of short stories and some of the best episodes of the original Star Trek series, including "Wolf in the Fold," "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" and "Catspaw."  He has won the Hugo Award and the Grandmaster World Fantasy Award.

Joe Campbell

Joe has been active in fandom for 19 years, having attended his first convention when he was 11.  He has been a member of Starfleet Command for eight years, serving as Commander of the outpost Omicron Ceti III from 1986 to 1988, Captain of the USS Taurus from 1988 to 1991 and Captain of the USS Bishop since 1991.  Joe is on the staff of Dixie-Trek, Atlanta Fantasy Fair and Starbase Indianapolis, as well as being Dragon*Con's Con Suite Director.  He appeared as an extra, in costume, for the movie The Real McCoys, starring Kim Basinger and Val Kilmer, and is a 1984 graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Lloyd Carter
The Absence of Black Fandom
Lloyd got his start by reading comics.  Later, his interests included animation from the United States and Japan.  In 1988 he joined a local Japanese animation club called C/FO Atlanta, which reorganized as Animé X a year later with Lloyd as its Information Director.  Since then, Animé X has grown from 20 members to more than 150 today.  As Information Director, Lloyd's duties include telling new members about the club and Japanese animation in general, including information about obtaining materials about Japan.  Lloyd also prepared the Japanese Animation Room for Dragon*Con.

Charles J. Corva, LCSW

Charles Corva is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice at the Atlanta Professional Counseling Center.  He received his Master of Science in Community Psychological Counseling degree from Long Island University in 1975 and his Master of Social Work degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1980.  Charles provides individual family, marital and group therapy for psychiatric and addictive diseases to adults and adolescents, and has therapy privileges at a variety of Atlanta hospitals.  He has recently served as the Program Director of the Brawner Psychiatric Institute/Psychiatric Institutes of America and as Administrator of the West Paces Ferry Hospital Rapha Annex.  Charles has been listed in Who's Who Among Human Service Professionals, and in 1990, received the State President's Award for Outstanding Professional Service from the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.

A West Virginia native, Tom has been attending conventions and doing Klingon for about a year and a half.  In addition to being on the TrekTrak staff, he is the Executive Officer for the IKV K'etlh Bortas of the Klingon Alliance Starfleet Headquarters, and of the Shuttlecraft Perth of Starfleet International.  A former Navy Seal and avionics tech, Tom currently builds ambulances for First Response in Griffin and is engaged to marry Annette Groover on August 14.

Gail Fuller

Active in fandom for only two years herself, Gail has been married to her Klingon husband Neil for five years.  She has been a member of Starfleet International for about two years, has been the Commanding Officer of the USS Macleod since February, and is a member of Starfleet Headquarters.  Gail enjoys helping and taking care of people and has worked with the handicap access group Electrical Eggs for about a year.  She works in a hospital loves challenges and making people laugh.

Owen Ogletree, Jr.

Founder of the Atlanta Star Trek Society in 1977 and founder of Dixie-Trek in the late '70s, Owen was also the editor of the ASTS fanzine Linguacode for eight years.  He received favorable reviews from The Next Generation's writing staff on two scripts he submitted for their consideration, and is completely familiar with Paramount's submission guidelines.  Owen has hosted this well-attended seminar at several mini-conventions across the southeast over the last year, mini-cons which he himself organized.  No stranger to speaking in front of a group of people, Owen is also a high school biology teacher.

Kevin Sweeney is the Manager of Information Systems at the Clayton Center for Mental Health, Substance Abuse Developmental Services, and is also the Facility Mental Health/Mental Retardation Information System Coordinator for Clayton County.  He has twenty years experience in the development and implementation of Behavior Modification plans and strategies to address a wide range of "unacceptable and inappropriate" behavior as well as the development of positive behaviors.  Kevin has conducted group and individual training with Developmentally Disabled children and adults using Computed Aided Instruction and adaptive equipment, and has developed community work programs and individual job placements for Mentally Handicapped adults.  He has served at the Clayton Center since 1987, first as the Director of its Mental Retardation Services Center, then as the Operations Analyst for its Chronically Mental Ill program.  Kevin has addressed such organizations as the Rotary Club, Civitans, Jaycees, Kiwanis, PTA, church groups and others.

Marilyn Teague

Marilyn has been a Star Trek fan since the original series first aired in 1966 and has been active in fandom for almost as long.  She was the Chairman of the Atlanta Fantasy Fair for three years in the late '70s to early '80s and, with her husband Robert, was a charter member of the handicap access group Electrical Eggs in 1985, for which they both currently serve as Georgia State Agents.  Marilyn was in charge of Handicap Access for the 1986 WorldCon here in Atlanta and has been a sign language interpreter at conventions ever since.  She and Robert have been Dragon*Con's Directors of Handicap Access for the last six years.  Marilyn has been a member of the Klingon League of Assault Warriors, the Klingon Assault Group, the USS Republic, and Georgia state representative of the Deep South Costumer's Guild for the last two to three years.  Marilyn also recently completed the Interpreter's Training Program at DeKalb College in Clarkston.

Eric has been active in Star Trek fandom for over 15 years.  He founded and was President of the United Federation of Trekkers in Columbia SC, the state's largest Star Trek fan club, from 1980 to 1988.  He served as the Volunteer Coordinator of the Atlanta in 1995 WorldCon Bid Committee from 1991 to 1992, and accepted the position of Dragon*Con's Director of Star Trek Programming last September.  Eric is also an Associate Member of WorldCon Atlanta, Inc. and a member of the Atlanta Real Soon Now (ARSN) WorldCon bid organization.  He is a former member of the amateur press associations Apa Enterprise, Talking of Trek and GAPS, and served as the Central Mailer (CM) of Atlapa for a year.  Eric has been a key member of Imaginapa for almost 13 years and has served as its CM for seven of them.  He has also been the CM of the Dragon*Con Directors' apa Dragon*Citings since its first issue in January.  Eric is the Editor & Publisher of The New Moon Directory, an annual index to amateur press associations and, in real life, is the Art Director of a national network marketing company.

Archie Waugh

Star Trek VII: The Next Generation
An actor, director, writer, designer and fan of Star Trek and Lost in Space since their original runs, Archie's first professional theatrical training was at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, and he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film & Theatre from the University of Miami.  Archie began making films at age 14, has appeared in over 75 stage plays from Shakespeare to musicals, including four months as the Emcee in Cabaret, and in bit parts in the movies Lenny and Fast Break.  Archie has directed many stage plays, including Dracula, Tennessee Williams' Outery (which Mr. Williams attended) and The Bad Seed, plus the feature-length video Way Bad Stone -- The Movie (which he co-wrote), an underground sword-and-sorcery fantasy.  He has written movie reviews and feature stories for the Miami Hurricane for four years and is a regular contributor to Strange New Worlds magazine, for which he has written articles on collectibles and weapons as well as his continuing series on model-building.  As if all that weren't enough, Archie is also a graphic artist for a local publisher in Florida.

Dr. Patricia Wheeler is a licensed psychologist in independent practice in Atlanta.  She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University and completed her internship training at Emory University School of Medicine.  In addition to her practice, Dr. Wheeler serves as Consulting Psychologist to the Clayton Mental Health Center Child and Adolescent Program, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine, and Adjunct Professor of Psychology at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology.  Although she has enjoyed Star Trek for many years, she only recently considers herself to have become a "Trekkie."
