Q
What is TrekTrak?  Is it a real convention or an Internet convention?
A
TrekTrak is a part of Dragon*Con.  Dragon*Con is America's largest annual pop culture convention with more than 30 different tracks of concurrent programming focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music and film.  TrekTrak is the Dragon*Con track of programming dedicated to Star Trek in of all its various forms, and to its fans, in all of their various forms.  Star Trek + programming track = "TrekTrak."
Q
I love Wil Wheaton!  Can you get him for your convention?
A
TrekTrak does not contact or solicit any specific celebrity for an appearance at Dragon*Con.  All celebrity appearances are handled by Dragon*Con's Guest Committee.  All suggestions for future convention guests should be sent to the Dragon*Con office at dragoncon@dragoncon.org with "Attn: Guest Committee" in the subject line.
Q
Where/how do I get tickets to your show?
A
Admission to all TrekTrak events is included in the price of your membership to Dragon*Con.  Click on the "Dragon*Con 2009" link near the top of the TrekTrak home page or go directly to www.dragoncon.org for information on purchasing a membership to Dragon*Con.
Q
Where it is being held?
A
Dragon*Con is hosted by four hotels in downtown Atlanta: the Hyatt Regency, the Marriott Marquis, the Atlanta Hilton and the Atlanta Sheraton.  TrekTrak events may be held in one or more of these hotels; specific programming event locations will be announced on the TrekTrek web site as soon as they are assigned and will also be printed in both the TrekTrak program book and the Dragon*Con pocket program.
Q
I am a huge fan of the Star Trek series and of the cast, so I was wondering if you could help me find some of their e-mail addresses?
A
No.
Q
Will I be able to get an autograph from the Star Trek guests?  How much does an autograph cost?
A
Most (but not all) Star Trek guests will have an autograph table on the Walk of Fame, which is a part of Dragon*Con but not a part of TrekTrak.  Most guests on the Walk of Fame charge a nominal fee for their autograph.  Many Star Trek guests not on the Walk of Fame (i.e., authors, etc.) have autograph sessions scheduled; visit Autograph Sessions for more information on those.
Q
Will I be able to get a picture taken with the Star Trek guests?
A
Your best chance of getting a picture taken with a Star Trek celebrity is at their autograph table on the Walk of Fame.  You have a very good chance of getting a photo taken with any of our programming participants in the TrekTrak programming room, but celebrities appearing in our ballroom events are usually escorted in and out by security in order to avoid being rushed by overzealous fans trying to get a picture taken with them.
Q
Is there any TrekTrak-specific merchandise for this year?  Most of the things on the web site seem to be from last year.  Or should I just wait until we arrive this year?
A
We'll have TrekTrak t-shirts available for sale at our fan table in the Marriott Marquis.  Shirts will be available in sizes Medium to 4XL.  Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted for payment at the TrekTrak fan table.
